Day 10 & 11
Left Phi Phi island yesterday and traveled back to Phuket this time staying at Karon beach. Just swam and walked around looking at the shops most of the time. This morning I walked to Kata beach about 2 miles away as they had the closest Starbucks believe it or not. Last night I went to a bar to drink and the bar and massage girls here do not bug you much which is a relief. This trip was fun but it was long enough. I will likely do this again and skip Patong beach. 21 hours on the plane and I will be home

Day 8 & 9
Went hiking again this time to Loh something bay. Lots of signs warning about the naughty monkeys or something. The beach was beautiful and the waves stronger than Long beach. There was a small horse hanging out too so they might be making that poor thing give people rides. Later I hiked up to the dude on the hill and bought more beer from him. Hiked toTonsai bay twice. This hike goes through woods, resorts on the beach and over some huge rocks. Today I carried back some booze, energy drink and mixer to make a "bucket" tonight. This is the local way to get your drink on. This is my last day here so I bought boat and Taxi tickets to get me back to Phuket.

Day 8
Well I am slowing down now and spent my day at the beach or in the pool. Went shopping at the 2 million junk booths around but I only found junk. Headed to the Juiceylon mall and looked around. Was impressed by the IT floor that had nothing but electronics and this was cool. They had a 3D arcade like thing but I did not go in just watched someone bowling. It seemed better than the bowling game I played on the plane heading here. Today is the birthday of the King and also is Thailand's fathers day. At 7 pm a celebration will start at the hotel with a candle light like vigil so I will take pictures, that is if I can see it from the bar :) Oh I found the gym today so I used it and this was good. I realized yesterday that I have been eating very little while on this vacation and it must be due to the heat. Started eating fattening stuff like lattes instead of the brewed coffee and pastries for breakfast and even a big mac. I do not miss this type of food but hey. Tomorrow is my last day here so I will have to start working the tour booths to find the best deal to get to Phi Phi island.

Day6-7
Day 6: Today I just walked around Pattaya and then left at 10am for the airport. Arrived in Phuket at 3pm and and a 1 hour taxi ride arrived at Patong beach. The hotel ended up be perfect as the room has ocean and pool views and is next to Patong beach and next door to the party spot. Soon as the sun went down the party started again. Met this girl that was selling timeshares so I spent time listening to her shit as the party stuff is now getting old. Patong night life is more upscale you might say and the average age is close to 30 abit different than Pattaya average age of 75 :) called it a night early around 10 which is actually late for me by my normal standards.
Day7: Mid way point today and I was wide awake at 5:00am so I headed out to find a Starbucks but settled for a McDonalds. I was surprised that the hookers and night life trash was still out. By sunrise they started to head back to their caves. Went on a hike thinking that I was heading south to Freedom beach which is hard to find and very secluded and prestine. Well I headed north so I seen other beaches and took some good pictures even one of an elephants ass after it scared me. I was lucky enough to get some awesome blisters on my feet so hobbling back to the hotel was a memory that I can share with youth in later years. Patong is nice but seems to not really be my vib. It is beautiful but it has a seedy underground that feels weird and walking around this morning kinda cemented that thought for me. Well was heading to the pool at noonish and the timeshare girl called saying she was at the front desk ready to take me to a presentation WTF I told her that I would call her this morning if the weather was bad and I was not going to hike. Everyone is so pushy here. I swear that I have heard in the last 48hrs a thousand statemements including but not limited to "massaaaage!", need tuktuk, I make you new suit, cheap! And even you want boom boom. Gotta love Thailand diversity. Plan to just be lame for the next couple days and let the feet heal.

Day5: Last night I went to walking street and that was a hella party site. Managed to only embarrass myself once and that event is now permanently etched in my memory,so, all in all not a bad night. Today I finally became one with nature and hiked to the Big Budda on top of a mountain, oK it was a hill, but a big one. I figured that it would be an easy 8 mile hike as it was overcast so I thought it would be relatively cool, but. I was wrong. Later I decided to go to Koh Larn an island off of Pattaya. Hoped on a boat, well actually it was more like a 2 story raft but who's complaining we made it. Got on another tuk tuk and road it to this beach where I am currently. This time I asked the driver the price 2 times before I paid up. See I am slow but I am learning. Think I will head back to walking street to night to watch a Thai boxing match as that is my kinda entertainment.
